Mr Bruce Donaldson, owner and CEO of Wannado, said that Wannado came about one night when he was stuck in a small town in South Africa. He was amazed that he could find very little or no information whilst surfing on the net; not only of that particular town, but a lot of the other small towns in South Africa.

Bruce is filled with a passion which bubbles over when he speaks about South Africa, the beauty of the country; the friendly people in the country; the wealth of information which if the tourist, local and international, knew about these places they would also look forward to staying longer in the same places, with so much more to to do than just fill beds for a couple of days.

 In his own words

“Wannado lists any and all Enterprises relative to tourism, fun and leisure activities, at no price tag to the Enterprise Owner!

Our goal is to list Somewhere to stay, Something to do and Somewhere to eat; and more in every town in South Africa.

The only way we could achieve this was not to charge the Enterprise Owner for the listing.

This way we can be assured of getting the required Enterprise information listings per town.

You may ask, why have we done this?

 Our answer is:

BECAUSE we want the surfer to have a resource where information is available on every town in South Africa, from the smallest to the largest.

The only way we could achieve this, was to list every Enterprise at no cost to the owner.

Wannado’s aim is also to promote smaller enterprises and communties and eco tourist projects involved in community development and volunteer organisations working in the upliftment of  communities.

In conjunction with Dalenco Placemats they are offering a prize which is a set of Placemats.

Dalenco Placemats is a community project providing employment to ladies in a disadvantaged area.

Dalenco Placemats have a range of more than twenty different themes: flora, fauna and ethnic; in sets of four, six, eight and twelve. The placemats are made up of three layers of fabric, top and bottom 100% cotton, the middle layer of high quality batting, which means because of the insulation they can be used as pot holders as well.

To stand a chance of winning a set of these beautiful placemats all you need to do is visit the link below:
